Noelle Izzo began her study of dance at age 3, at Jeanne Benson’s Dance Academy now known as Benson Academy of Dance. In her younger years, she was guided in instruction by Jeanne Benson-Smith, and Sheila Ruotolo. Later, she received intense training under the instruction of Nicole Benson who in 2008 granted her a scholarship for 6 weeks of intensive training at the Central Pennsylvannia Youth Ballet Company. There Ms. Izzo had the opportunity to further expand her knowledge in the art of dance with many acclaimed artists. In 2007 she began assisting with instructing students leading to the opportunity of teaching her own classes not long after at Benson’s Dance Academy. Ms. Izzo was also accepted as a member of the Marion Ballet Theatre Company at age 7 and continued as a performing artist through age 18. Here she had the opportunity to perform locally as a soloist, demi soloist, and in the corps de ballet in many full-length classical works including The Nutcracker where she was selected to dance principal roles such as “Clara” and the “Snow Queen”. Other productions of which Ms. Izzo performed, include Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummers Night’s Dream, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Peter and the Wolf, and Princess Style all under the artistic direction of Nicole Benson. Ms. Izzo has also had the privilege of dancing as a guest artist in a local production from Elevations Academy of Dance studio’s Romeo and Juliet staring as the lead soloist “Juliet”. While attending the College of Central Florida she was guided with further training in modern dance under Rebecca Lott from 2012-2013. After obtaining her Associates of Science Degree in Physical Therapy, Ms. Izzo is now a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and enjoys her work with orthopedic patients. Through her 22 years of dance training, Ms. Izzo has background experience in classical ballet, pointe, modern, tap, jazz, lyrical and tumbling and specializes in classical ballet technique, modern dance, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
